You are now free to leave the court

Today, my boyfriend went to the Leeds Magistrates Court to have a verified copy of his passport sworn in front of a magistrate. It cost us another £25, but if this document is not official enough, we don’t know what is.

We had to chuckle when he told me that after it was done, the clerk of the court said: “You are now free to leave the court Mr …”.

I put the copy in the post to my brother straight away. Hopefully, it won’t take long to reach him and our paperwork will be finally sorted.
